Outdoor Play

Children are naturally drawn to play outdoors. The exercise promotes well-being in the fresh air and sunshine. It also promotes development, muscle strength, and coordination. Actively playing increases flexibility and physical skills related to sports.

Playing in the sandbox or in the yard with planes, trucks or cars supports imaginative play. Shovels and pails on the beach provides tactile learning. Reading in a hammock or in a tent provides relaxation in the fresh air.
